The dusky sky falls in blankets of warm plum and deepening midnight blue, pulling down once more the dark quilted starry sky around us in the hush of winter snow. Blues, purples, indigos mix and melt as the sun disappears again, for now.
Our Winter’s Tale Moonshine Jugs are some of our most powerful and evocative colorwork this year. We’ve been stretching and pushing the edges of this winter’s color technique and this moonshine jug - with its punch of ethereal ombré- may be the most powerful example. High style and Appalachian history, all in one moonshine jug. This piece shines in the sun and out of it — in the spotlight or with light streaming through it.
Each piece is unique and and designed and made by hand to order by our talented Appalachian glassblowers in Huntington, WV. Expect 1-3 weeks for delivery.
The last day to place orders for delivery by Christmas is December 12th!
