We identify natural spaces, parks, preserves, and public spaces that encourage, preserbe and foster West Virginia and Appalachia’s wild natural beauty.

Round one begins with the hiding of thirty blue-grey-white-lavender float balls across Greater Huntington Parks and Recreation’s many parks in Cabell County, WV.

    Show It Off!

During our Float Ball events, the field is wide open - and we want you to report back! Where did you find it, what did you discover along the way, where will you enjoy it, yourself?

All of the fun of the Scavenger Hunt, but there are thirty of ‘em out there. Get out, get some exercise!

Follow wherever the path leads you! These beautiful glass floats will be hidden by themselves in natural spaces on and right off the beaten path across Greater Huntington’s parks — (not cemeteries! let’s be respectful). Starting May 1st, the game’s afoot, and not until all thirty have been found will the round be declared over — and plans for the next round will be laid!

Did you find a floatball?
