Day breaks over frozen earth in rays of warm pinks and reds and golds, rosy-fingered Dawn breaking the sky wide open at its edges, and bringing the light back briefly to a dark earth.
Our Winter’s Tale Moonshine Jugs are some of our most powerful and evocative colorwork this year. We’ve been stretching and pushing the edges of this winter’s color technique and this moonshine jug - with its punch of ethereal ombré- may be the most powerful example. High style and Appalachian history, all in one moonshine jug. This piece shines in the sun and out of it — in the spotlight or with light streaming through it.
Each piece is unique and and designed and made by hand to order by our talented Appalachian glassblowers in Huntington, WV. Expect 1-3 weeks for delivery.
